The hours after birth are important for both mother and newborn. Our team observes recovery, bleeding, blood pressure, comfort and feeding while helping families settle into the early routine of caring for their baby.
Newborn support includes warmth, feeding assistance, hygiene guidance and observation for concerns that need medical attention. Mothers receive advice on nutrition, rest, wound or perineal care, breastfeeding and the emotional changes that can follow delivery.
Before discharge, families are informed about medicines, follow-up visits, newborn care and warning signs for mother or baby. Our goal is a safe transition home with practical guidance and confidence.
